Why do we play to the level of our opponent?

There have been a few times we blow a team out, but usually we make close games against less talented ball clubs. KC should have been a blow out. I loved watching the game and our team come together, but I dont feel as secure of our talents now.

How can we hang with the Giants and Broncos and almost lose to the Dallas Texans? I dont get it. I know we have injuries but that was too close!

I know we will step up against ATL but we should come ready everygame, regardless of opponent status.

I don't know but it was so predictable that they would struggle in KC. I thought Mnnesota would have a let down after beating GB on MNF, but they crushed St. Louis.

I don't know, if I was 18 again walking into a brothel and out comes Wade Phillips with his man-boobs hanging and Garrett with his red hair curling around, then I wouldn't be too motivated either. :laugh2:

Just like the BCS system promotes, we should blow out KC, Rams, etc.

Im sure we will be in the game with ATL, and i will be sorely dissapointed if we get 45 put on us like the niners, but we should bring that caliber attack every sunday.

I could be wrong about this but this team has always had games where thay struggle against lesser opponents dating back to as far as I can remember.However it does seem that this team struggles more often against lesser competition than in days past though.

Motivated as in being excited?




The problem with this team is mental mistakes. Once they fix this than all will be well.

But after what i've seen the last 4 years or so i'd say there is a less than 10% chance Dallas will stop doing dumb stuff.


I mean its so bad we actually have a poster on here who made a Stupid Mistake Rating system.

That is what I was going to say. If you don't think teams get extra fired up to play us then you have not been listening. I do believe it is true. Combine that with not getting up like you should for lesser teams and you have a close game.

That said, if we don't make all of those mistakes early in the game I think this one would have ended up a sizable win.

But.... it is in the W column.
