Cap space can easily be created if desired. They obviously have no desire to do trades or get free agents...they think they are going to draft a bunch of starters..lol

Yep. We tied up 17 million with Tagging Lawrence instead of signing him which I think was a smart move despite tying up so much Cap space this year.

This probably also means we’re not cutting Dez which would have cleared up about 12 million which I’m ok with too.

I’m usually pretty critical but I think we’ll address most of our needs in the draft.

Ultimately if Dak doesn’t develop its not going to matter anyway.

Dallas is not a free agent away so there is no need to tilt the salary cap for one. I also think there is a desire to develop and promote from within.

These are ready to go but the Dez trade to move up in Rd 1 isn't completed yet.

If I had my bet this isn't very far off. Had Zeke not got suspended Jerry and the gang probably see this as an 11 win team. Then they expect the young secondary to have finally gotten better. Plus they have big plans to run a college offense. On and on I'm sure. Until preseason and Witt is running 3 yard option routes, and Dak gets blown up on a zone read play!!

This is what baffles me. Yes, you want to home grow your own talent and build through the draft. But what are the odds that you draft multiple starters that have impacts day one?
