Why does a top 10 defensive front never get holding calls?

We almost never get holding calls against opposing offenses even though our pass rush is pretty stout. Nobody ever holds DeMarcus Lawrence or Irving or even Lee or Smith on the blitz?

Come on man! If you focus on our top d linemen on a play you will see holding and grabbing all over the place. But almost never any flags. Yet our offensive line is called for holding regularly - especially it seems on plays where we gain big yards.

I know refs don’t go out there looking to cheat but after the crazy call on the field goal last week it sure seems odd.

We are getting league average

Of course no one on the Commanders' all-world offensive line held a single Cowboy all game. Of course not. It's only our offensive line who holds people.

I see holding on both teams most game. I get what you are saying and I agree. There were a lot of miss call from the refs and that call on the snapper is quite perplexing.

I have noticed that D-Law gets held on every play and yet no flag. I just don't understand.

I think the NFL should hold refs accountable for bad call such as the Dez catch and the penalty on LP.

Ahhh yes, the great anti-holding call conspiracy is back. Mara and Goodell are at it again. :muttley:

Funny how Mara being so (allegedly) chummy with Roger doesn't seem to be doing the Giants any good.

Washington's offensive line has been called for holding 12 times in six games. The Cowboys o-line has been called for it 11 times in 7 games.

But hey, what fun is an anti-Cowboys conspiracy if facts are just going to get in the way? :muttley:

It wouldn't bother me so much if the standard was the same both ways, but it's not.

Well, except for the time they were called for holding.

For the same reason this team manages to get obscure penalties every season.

yep, I was thinking of that, the Butler one against the Packers, Ladouceur's last game, hell I remember we beat the Commanders on a last second TD a few years back when McNumbnuts was their QB and it was called back by a phantom hold.

It's only because we only have 1 guy that is really any good. The others are all JAGs. Especially Ty Craw he is the king of JAGs. He beats no one so therefore they dont have to hold.

Our front seven includes Lawrence, Irving, Gregory, Lee, Jaylon Smith and LVE, none of whom are JAGS.
