Why Does anyone Question The Play Calling

I am really not sure why anyone is questioning the play calling versus Detroit or any other team. Keep in mind that most teams in the NFL these days call a running play and a pass play in the huddle. In Dallas you will here the word "kill" which basically kills a passing or running play. This is done so that the QB can read the defense and in turn call the right play. It's unfortunate that our QB is a ******* and always goes for the pass when winning the game. I'm sorry but Romo plays like most of us do on Xbox. Wants to go for it on 4th down and goes for the kill when leading the game. This guy needs to go, hell send his *** to Washington.

To bad we can't just hit the reset button after one of his blunders

Because if it was all about players getting it done on their own, there would be no need for coaches.

At some point you have to stop pointing the fingers at the coaches. We get new coach after new coach...same freakin results. Have to blame the players at some point. I believe Garrett and Rob are doing everything they can to make this team successful. I think you have to blame the players and the talent. You want to blame someone, blame Jerry Jones. This is the team he has put together.

Explain the Colts and Peyton Manning then.

Who sends in personnel changes? The players on the sidelines just know? No confusion, no competition, no jealousy?

What was it Ernie Zampese said about blaming it on play calling?

Well as a coach if you can't trust your QB to make the right call then what do you do? This is JG's first coaching position. Romo has been throwing picks with Parcells, Phillip's and now Garrett. One thing is for sure, As someone stated earlier "Romo's upside is not worth his downside's!":bang2:

Find me one QB who played a season without INTs.

Played...not sat the bench.

Find me a QB who has been given the chances Romo has. Yes they all throw INT's. The problem is Romo takes to many chances and most of his INT's come on 1st and 10. Now explain that!

You do have to place blame on the players but there's always 2-3 moments every game, on non-audible plays that Garrett leaves you scratching your head.

Brett Favre, John Elway, Peyton Manning.

I can easily go on.

Remember when Wade and Garrett did an Xs and Os session for the reporters and wowed them with the intricacies of each play and the details of each assignment?

Garrett called a great game against a great defense, thats why we lead 27-3 at one point. The problem is Romo decided that it would be in his best intersest to throw the ball and take the game out of his defense's hands.

I often wonder if people really listen to what they post? It is amazing.

Garrett has had questionable playcalling for years. All of the screens and mis directions are his fault. No this is not madden . Romo's questionable throws are certainly his fault. But Garrett as an oc CANNOT escape blame. We win in spite of Oc Garrett more often than not

Brett Favre also lead the league in Int's I get that. Elway and Manning shouldn't even be mentioned here due to the fact that they both showed improvement year after year and even you(BIG HOS) knows ALL the Qb's you mentioned have rings.

So in turn I must ask the infamous Hos to go on record and answer the following question.

Will Tony Romo overcome his inability to improve year after year? Do you feel he has what it takes to win a SB? Will you go on record and make a case for Romo against even the 3 Qb's you mentioned?

I often wonder the same....

Looking back at their careers they have rings. You're looking at Tony's future, not his past. Of course they have rings. That was the point. Did you know that Landry had issues trusting Staubach?

I mean come on man, use some perspective in trying to take a swing at this.

First of all, what do you base "an inability to improve" upon? I see quite a bit of improvement.

Does he have what it takes to win a Super Bowl? Absolutely, and I can't believe any football fan cannot see that. Will he? I don't know, and frankly no one else does either.

I will say this, the odds are not good. You see, Super Bowls don't grow on trees. You don't just skip down the lane and pick one. You bust your ***. But there are 31 other QBs out their busting their ***** too and one of them might have a better day at the right moment.

Are you telling me that Romo puts no effort into trying to win for this football team? Dan Marino never put in effort to win a Super Bowl, that's what doomed him?

I'm sorry, but if you are that is ridiculous at best. There is no such thing as Super Bowl destiny, not even for the Dallas Cowboys.

Funny how "Wade and Garrett" wowed them but "Wade" was the one getting the blame for the losses.

Funny how that works, one guy runs the offense and one guy runs the defense and when the crap hit the fan one guy gets fired and the other guy gets promoted.

In Wade's first year as HC he lost a total of 3 games all year. Tecmo has already lost 2 and both are going into the record books because they had never happened in 51 years of team existence.

Yes I do. Regardless, I could point to at least 5 playcalls this season that just made zero sense.

I love Jason Garrett, just feel that he has some questionable playcalls. And honestly, I'm not even referring to today. Didn't have a problem today, that loss goes on Romo.
