In most cases, like yesterday, it is piss poor clock management laying the blame on the head coach.

Like yesterday cant get a first down to run out the clock when a game can be put into the W column.

They let the other team hang around, playing not to lose. If they were to attack from the get go, and build up a big lead, the other team wouldn't have a chance to come back and win.

Snake bit or stupid coaching. Against Denver they had a LB on Welker on the critical 2nd and goal from the 14 at the end of the game. This week, they have single coverage on Megatron with 30 seconds left in the game. Stupid is, stupid does!

The main reason why we lose so many close games is because of Garrett and his inexperience as a coach.

First of all, when we have a small lead, he will start to chew time off the clock by calling running plays.
This allows the other team to gain momentum and mount a comeback. Now because we allowed them to get back into the game, this gives them the momentum. Thus, everything starts to unravel during crunch time. Garrett starts to panic because he doesn't know what to do. He thus makes bad decisions like icing the kicker, bad clock management, etc. Therefore we end up losing.

Garrett is the main reason why we lose close games. W haven't gotten blown out this year by anyone. Which means that coaching is the issue on why we can't close the close games like were supposed to.

A lot of factors go into these last second one point losses, but there is always a coaches decision that can be questioned. You can't help but wonder if Garrett is the problem. I keep hoping for a light bulb to come on for him as far as situational football. I'm still holding out hope that it can happen this season.
