Why does everyone think Terry Glenn will make some huge impact? It's doubtful.

If Glenn had come back....say...game 12 or so....I'd think he'd be ready to make an impact.

But having him play a total of 10 or so snaps?

I don't see how the timing and confidence will be there. I truly hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am here.

T.O. is a legit deep threat. But he draws alot of doubles. If Glenn can come up with a play, or even open up space underneath, he's adding something to the offense.

I mean he COULD go off and have a great game. I think his impact might be limited. But if he can get a deep ball or so it would be a great bonus.

I haven't seen him practice, so I can't tell you how he looks. If he's completely ineffective, we are no worse off htan we were when he wasn't playing.

If you were a true realist, you would r-e-a-l-i-z-e that you won't know jack about how much of a threat Glenn will be until you and everyone else actually see him in action. You're ready to right him off a week before the game. There's absolutely nothing 'realistic' about that whatsoever.

That's what a lot of 'fans' said recently, some of which were found to be members of other teams boards.

But honestly, if you want to look at it in rational way. Putting Glenn out there is a well worth gamble. We've put Deon Sanders out there before. That wasn't a bad thing. Are you saying that Deon back then is better than Glenn right now?

What's dumb is the notion that putting Glenn out there could somehow endanger the game. You can put him out there, as a Decoy and still have a productive offense. You can learn how good he is out there by putting him out there too. This thread is stupid.

Glenn healthy or not cannot just be ignored, he has the speed to run the deep routs Crayton doesn't which means he can still pull defenders away from the underneath stuff even if we don't throw him the ball the Giants can't just assume we won't they're as much in the dark about his health as we are
