Why does Hot Sauce taste so good yet hurt so bad???

I do, when the miserable after effects that caused this initial thread are enough of a distant memory for me to be stupid again.

On eggs, on pizza, on rice, on wings; nothing flavors food like Franks Red Hot sauce. But it sure does hurt.

I used to take that approach when I was in the Army. Everything tasted like hot sauce. :laugh2:

I think your butt gets used to spices much the same way your mouth does. If it's hot enough to make me uncomfortable going in, it's going to make me uncomfortable going out.

On the hot sauce front, it's hard to beat Cholula sauce. I love that stuff. It's not that spicy, but it sure does have a better flavor than Tobasco and other hot sauces I've tried. Greatness.

I took the family out to Mexican food tonight. One of my favorite places in town called Micha's. I did what I always do when they bring chips and salsa, I asked for the hottest salsa they have. Instead the waiter brought me a chili powder to add to the salsa. Holy crap is was serious hot! I loved every mouth watering bite of it. I am not however looking forward to tomorrow. I have a feeling the water in the loo is going to boil.

I work at subway and I emptied a bottle of fred's hot sauce and a quarter of the bullseye sauce on my spicy italian sub lol. It was hell also I added jallepenios and banna peppers and peppers.
