Jerra has a team that needs secondary hep, plenty of O-line hep and lacks smaybe a breakaway kick returner and QB help (Kitna and McGee dod not inspire confidence).

Yet Jerra can take time to have dinner with Dez Bryant?

Jerra has a place in my heart but I am beginning to think that he is headed to Senilesville. That he had at one time been a savvy owner who is now no better than Danny Snyder when it comes to tradin and acquiring.

Be prepared for a "blockbuster" deal or trade on draft day. Something that will make news for Jerra.

All the while the team's other needs go lacking. And then we have Wade as HC. Not a pretty sight.

Getting tired and bored sitting under the bridge?

Why does Jerra need a scouting staff?

Could it be because he's the owner and GM of a pro sports team? Hmmm, I winder if that's it.

Did I miss the draft? And did we neglect to address our NEEDS?

I must have slept a lot longer than i thought.

I'm sure Jerry listens to what his scouts have to say.

I think bringing in Dez is only covering all option out there at the 27 pick.

This notion that if the OL or Safety is not there you just make a trade with some unknown team is ridicules, if a trade is offered and it is to the Cowboys liking then maybe you do the trade but if not you better know the players that you may be left looking at 27.

Cowboys need to do their home work on these player and I think that is exactly what we are currently doing so if we know all our options

I don't think some people even consider the fact that you need a willing partner to trade with, let alone the cost.

Nope, they are lined up outside Jerry's door, just waiting to give him whatever he wants to trade down and get exactly the player he wants. that's how it always works.

I agree. You just say I want to trade and that is it. Little more to it and we sure do not want to pull the vikes stunt where you sit there and let the clock run out on you during your selection. Get as much info on the top players as you can if some team is looking to move up and it is to the Cowboys liking then make the move if not know what your options are at your pick

I knew, just knew that maybe one sober zoner would offer a response with some form of substance. The haters are not idle this afternoon!
:D

Thanks!

Felix Jones is a breakaway kick returner. So is Miles Austin.

Every team needs QB help. Few teams have back up QBs that inspire confidence. With slim pickings out there how is Dallas going to find someone who does inspire confidence? There are not 32 quality starters in the league. Any backup is going to have flaws.

After reading your thread, I'm wondering if Jerra is going to Senilesville to pay you a visit. Tell em hello for me.
