Hey guys, I didnt see this posted anywhere so I decided to make a new thread. Sorry if this was already discussed somewhere.

I read that Rivera want to run the ball alot to protect a young QB. Maybe if I had Grossman at QB, I would want to protect him, but does Romo really need protecting?

Romo is a probowl QB that should be the center piece of the offense, I dont think he needs to be "protected" or "hidden" in our offense. If Rivera is thinking this way, I am a little concerned.

Our offense was like #2 in scoring last year, Rivear does not need to fix what is not broken. If Riveara is named HC, do you think he is going to hurt Romo's development by trying to hide him like the Bears do Grossman?

Just a thought, what do you guys think?

Wow. Talk about butchering a guy's name.

Oh, and Rivera just said that he likes to run the ball. It's not about him "protecting a young QB." He just think that an effective running game helps the QB, which is pretty obvious.

I think people are reading way too much into what he said :bang2:

I think that the stats lie and most on this board are overrating our offense.
