Why does this team always not show up in the playoffs?

The packers are going to be the 2011 Giants aren’t they? That team is actually better then the record indicates
I don't see then getting past SF or Detroit. They're a good, young team...but we laid an egg. Not much else to be said about it.

Its got to be a culture and preparation problem at this point. There's no other explanation...

I think they buy into the hype that the media bestows on them and they look past certain games, considering them a foregone conclusion...

This team folds under any kind of adversity... Was anyone actually still optimistic when we went down 14-0?

#1 - Culture

#2 - QB 1 is just simply not good enough. But a lot of it has to do with the culture

#3 - Discipline or lack thereof. Which again leads back to culture.

#4 - Jerry Jones, the creator of this culture.

And if there is such thing as a Jerry Curse, yesterday did little to fan that flame down.

The Packers will be handled next week. This game was about us being out coached and out played. It wasn't because of talent.

The one consistent all season long against playoff bound teams was that the Cowboys did not have the roster to compete. They simply are not that good. They have a roster that will put up 40 on the Giants and Commanders and the minnows of the league. And that is where the confusion arises. Everyone focuses on the 12-5 record. No one focuses on who they played for that 12-5. They look at the stats Prescott puts up, who did those things come against. Look at the last 4 games and the anemic offense against the Bills. At some point you can't keep saying well they had an off day. Not when you consistently have off days against above average playoff bound teams.

It's not just the playoffs. The Cowboys struggle against the better teams in the NFL. Its a top down conundrum that won't get fixed.
