Why does this team have terrible tackling fundamentals?

Scandrick, Wilcox, Mo, and even Hitchens act like they have no arms, and just dive towards the runner's ankle. Does this ultimately fall on Marinelli? I thought he was big on fundamentals. I'm pretty sure this scheme is highly dependent on wrap up tackling. Church seems to be the only sure tackler on the team.

I thought Florida was the worst tackling team I had ever seen at the Division I level yesterday. They say that because of limited practice and hitting in college there are no fundamentals.

It's a league wide problem. Less practices, less contact allowed, coaches scared of injuries, rules enforced to protect the offensive players.

Just the nature of the beast.

Going low due to new rules I understand but why they don't use the arms to wrap up is what I don't get.

There is the correct answer. The league created this problem and the Cowboys appear to be happy participants.
