Why don't we run no huddle/hurry up more?

This is a discussion that came up several times last year because we were always coming from behind in games, and whenever we went to the no huddle our offense magically sprang to life (Washington & Giants game anyone?). Well I'm seeing the exact same thing this year, for almost the entire game our offense seems sluggish, out of sync, and we can't get anything going. As soon as we go no huddle on the last drive there, we move the ball with ease. When the offense is really struggling to move the ball like it was today why don't we throw in some no huddle just to change up the pace and see if we can kickstart the offense? The only time we run it now is out of complete necessity, but I don't see why we can't run it on a drive in the 2nd or 3rd quarter if we're struggling.

Protecting our defense.

If you haven't noticed its what most of us would call terrible, so if you hurry up and have to punt you are stressing what is one of the worst units in the league even more.

To add to the above the preseason defense needs a rest

Because its stupid, and is the reason the Eagles were imploding. Now even Chip Kelly is slowing down a bit. You have to use it wisely, and when your defense is thin, almost none at all.

Somewhat related but I was at the game and there were quite a few times where a 12th Viking player would be lazily getting off the field and We would basically wait for him to get off the field before snapping it when we could have had an easy penalty.

We run the snap with 2 seconds on the play clock offense instead.

We are too busy running the "12" to be bothering with a hurry up offense....

:p

But we're stressing them already. They got that pick today, then the offense punts. Look at the Giants, Commanders, and Eagles games, our D will get a turnover but our O does not capitalize and sends the D back on the field. I'm not saying run it all the time, maybe just for 1 drive to see if we can get some momentum going. I understand that we need to protect our D, but I also think that an offense that moves the ball would help them as well. I'm not saying we should turn into the Broncos here, but just use it if our offense is struggling to change up the pace a little. It seems to work for our O whenever we do run it.
