Why Gronk?

Not to beat a dead horse but looking at the video replay of the formation when Romo was injured I noticed that Gronk is the only back in the game. Why is JG relying on a rookie to protect Romo? Why would Gronk be the only back in the game to begin with? We have 3 very good running backs and you are devising plays that have a rookie FB out there while Felix, MB and Choice are on the pine. I just dont understand what goes on in JG mind some times. Marion Barber makes that block all day, every day.

Why are you ranting for nothing? 1 back or 2, a rookie FA fullback is still left responsible for the franchise QB's health. That has failure written all over it.

Gronk was not the only back in the backfield Felix was back there but was running a rout out of the backfield.

Gronk has done a pretty decent job up to that point. He made a critical mistake but he has shown some good things as well and hopefully will learn from mistakes he has made.
