Does it save them any more making this a post June cut? Usually teams avoid doing that to players they like since they miss so much of the free agency period. Maybe they don't care at all about the fallout for Manziel, and want to maximize savings

I'd love it if you bought Washington from Dan Snyder. Pay you starting QB at best 7 million and allow a player to do what Manziel did and consider him loyal...you would actually do a much worse job
