Why have I not seen anyone asking if Carr is done?

Broken bone in November.
Broken bone in December.
Broken bone in September (Or I guess October 1).

The guy can barely make it through a game...

Must be the constant beating he took over the years.

Never have been able to figure out why some people get complete passes and others none at all. Human nature is just weird.

Try looking at the Raiders websites. You'll find your answer there.

If this is a Romo comparison its not a very good one.

No one was saying Romo was done when he was 26 years old

They were saying it when he was 36 and broke multiple bones in his body.

Huge difference.

So, it's not a concern to break multiple bones in a short period if you're young?

It doesn't, perhaps, point to the fact that sometimes things can just happen in a short period of time and be bunched together?

Of course its a concern ........ but lets not pretend that age does not have a lot to do with injury and the severity in football.

Romo's body was done ...... Carr's very well could be, but I would still give a 26 year old man the benefit of doubt that it has just been bad luck.

I would disagree on both counts. Age plays a role, but not a significant one when concerning bones and the ages either of these men are at. Joints, etc. is another story.

He's got one of those brittle skeletons.

A real shame.

I hear they're working on a way to detect this condition at the combine so teams know what they're getting into.

Everything I can find indicates there is very little difference in bones ages 26-36. Now as pointed out soft tissues or ligaments or cartilage there is some difference but not as much as one would think.,

Remember 36 is only old when looking at sports; a lot of what problems 36 year old players have is an accumulation of injuries over the years.

Probably because this is a Cowboys forum.

Because he doesn't play for the Cowboys.

Concern perhaps. But that age thing is a major point of focus in terms of recovery.
