Why Heath over Moore

Going nuts over this JAG.....do we really have to do this everytime.....I mean really.

Did another team run to get this guy.......NOPE.

Sensy was 'solid' and whatever til we released him and noone wanted him. Moore is sitting on the couch, let him sit there and bring in some real talent to develop.

the difference is that you knew what you were getting with sensi...heath? not so much...he looks to have some feistiness to him....I am glad he made the roster

Moore is a vested vet. Nobody will touch him until week two. A los of veterans will have to sit out week one. And a bunch of no-name UDFA will be innactive week one only to be released on week two.

Wouldn't be surprised if Heath isn't cut after wk1 or wk2 and signed to the practice squad while Moore or another corner is signed to the active roster. It's possible they didn't want to expose him and take a chance of loosing him in the feeding frenzy Saturday.

If they want to re-sign Moore, they have the roster spot to do so without cutting anyone.

Yea, please lose the Rowdy avatar,,, Dude looks, uh, challanged to say the least !

I think it is the default avatar just to annoy people enough to make them be creative and come up with one of their own.

But, my how things have changed; we used to have the beautiful cheerleaders and Cowboy Ray, now we have the beautiful cheerleaders and Rowdy. I'll never like Rowdy until he does something cool like running over Eli or mooning Shanahan. Maybe it's the name. You can't seriously be called Rowdy unless you are rowdy, and he's a wuss, nothing rowdy about him. Maybe he ought to be called Smiley, or Big Head, or Clownboy, or even Quasimodo.

What has Heath shown that chose the Cowboys to keep him over Moore. To me he showed nothing special. He never showed up in coverage, never stood out in a game even against the 2nd and 3rd team defense. Worst of all he took horrible angles against the run which lead to big plays. For a safety to be the last line of defense he can not afford to take bad angles like that.
Moore showed good coverage, was a good tackler, and could really fill in the slot if needed. He actually looked like the better player when compared to Webb.

i will now ignore all rowdy avatars.

i just can't take it anymore.

He's vested? I figured he probably was, but was too lazy to look it up. :) But, if we liked Pellerin close to as much, it was a decent risk to take if we needed a roster spot and wanted to avoid a guaranteed salary. I really like Moore, though, and will be bummed if we don't try to bring him back.

Just a question. What happens if Scandrick and Webb go down in one game..I won't say the other possibilities, I REFUSE TO THINK ABOUT IT!!! :)

No, Sterling Moore only played in 2011 and 2012. A vested veteran must have 4 years of accrued service.

Moore is, obviously, past the point of being eligible for the practice squad.
