Why I am excited about Romo starting (not what you think)

However, with Romo starting now, we will know at the end of the year if he is the quaterback of the future

How do you figure? After last year could Buffalo say with any certainty that Losman is the answer? Or this year for that matter? How about Aikman after his first year, or Bradshaw, or anyone else who got off to a bad start? If you can accurately predict a QB's future based on his first 8 starts there may be some NFL GM's who want to hear from you.

I think the most likely scenario is that Romo shows some flashes but is as inconsistent as we saw him vs the Giants, and we head into the offseason with the QB situation remaining a question mark.
