Why I am more confident this year vs the Whiners, than last year!

43: This is an excellent post. Agree about the O-Line changes since last year. One more thing that stands out to me is the addition of Hankins. He was specifically signed for matchups like this in the playoffs with the intent to make it hard for teams to run over our interior defense and thus run down our entire defense.
Same thoughts here.

169 yds rushing by SF. That was the difference in the game. Allowed them to control TOP and therefore to control the game.

Why we win:

Our O line is MUCH better in my opinion!

Pollard will be a much bigger part of our game plan which is huge!

Our TE’s are better with more depth!

Dak is better. He is super confident after TB and he is healthier!! He will use his legs to help us win!

Our CB’s are better! Diggs and Bland are both playmakers. Our new slot looked really good vs TB.

Our Safeties are better with one more year in Quinn’s system.

Our D line, with Quinn’s help will slow down the run, and allow Micah and company to force pretty little Purdy into mistakes. I think Watkins( very underrated ), OSA, and Hankins will play just good enough.

Coaches Matter! They will have the players confident and prepared. We will play to win, not scared!

Even though we were favorites, and at home vs the Whiners last year, I was not confident at all. This year, I am!!!!

Our O line was so over hyped last year. PFF( which I don’t care about, but others do) had them ranked as a top 5 line. What a joke! I had a very strong feeling our O line would be our biggest weakness. Biadaz, and especially Conner Williams were struggling big time toward the end of the year. Williams was getting physically dominated at times. Tyron was just coming of an injury and just didn’t have his movement back. Collins played like crap. They got pushed around and basically dominated vs the Whiners last year. NOT THIS YEAR!!!! I would love to have Steele, but Tyron is starting to play very well at RT. Biadaz is playing much better than last year and McCovern is playing better and stronger at the point of attack than Conner Williams. Our rookie at LT is thriving. I think he will hold his own vs Bosa. Martin is Martin! Our O line WILL HOLD THEIR OWN VS THE WHINERS D FRONT!!! That’s all they need to do.

We have an excellent DC in Dan Quinn, who is game planning vs a 7th round rookie who has only started 6 games. Dan is going to confuse pretty little Purdy into some mistakes. Last week vs Seattle he had a few throws that could have been intercepted! I think the Whiners will try to establish the run, but Quinn will have us prepared. Last week vs Seattle the Whiners had some long runs on misdirection runs, but when they just try to line up and pound the ball they are not near as effective. Seattle stuffed their run quit a bit. Hopefully, Quinn will have some good run blitz’s prepared. I like our back end vs the Whiners. Diggs and Bland are play makers. They may jump a route at any time. WE found a slot corner in Mukuamu. The kid can play!!! Our safeties need to show up in the run game. Again, Quinn needs to put our guys in position to make plays! Take advantage of Micah!!!! Have Micah fake rush, and send someone else! Quinn needs to scheme some free runners using Micah as the bait!!

Dak needs to have a good game which includes using his legs!! He will!!!!

We need our coaches to show up big time!

On Offense, use Tennessee’s strategy from last, year at times. Max protect. Zek and a TE, or extra OL, stay in to block. This will give Dak more time in the pocket. It will spread out the Whiners zone. It will also tire out Bosa( he was exhausted after the Tennessee game). Send Hilton our Gallop deep and the other receivers into the holes in the zone, which should be bigger. Dak can still dump it if to Zek or Pollard after they block! Dak can run to after the Whiner LBers back pedal into their zone.

We will win this game, PUT IT IN 3 INCH BOLD TYPE!!!!!
I thought the whiners were our fans. Lol

Don’t tell them that.

Their fan base has them blowing us out because we aren’t as good as last year.

They claim we beat a bad Bucs team but puff their chest for rolling teams like the cardinals, rams etc
They're right about us beating a crap Bucs team, but they're off on the rest.
I think both teams are better.
But Purdy is a bit of wildcard. Could continue to play well or he could implode.

Not saying they shouldn't be favored though.

Oh I definitely believe they should be favored. Home team, 10+ game win streak. Unstoppable since McCaffrey got there.

However, they haven’t really played an all around good team like Dallas outside of Kansas City.

@ Rams, Chargers, Cardinals, Saints, Dolphins, Bucs, @ Seahawks, Commanders, @ Raiders, Cardinals.

A majority of those games were also played at home. So a win this week and a a NY win would likely mean a trip back to the Super Bowl for them

Because you're riding a high from the win last Monday against the Bucs.

And this 49ers team is much better than it was last season. We SHOULD win because we shouldn't allow a rookie QB to beat us - but we've done sillier things in recent history.

Fortunately, the 49ers didn't add anybody of consequense to their team this year.
I know they're really healthy for this game, but how much difference could that make to them? Phft.
Don't get me started about their quarterbacking! I mean, they're starting their 3rd string QB for crying out loud. Phft!
Finally...what advantage could playing on their own grass field be? Seriously...that's nothing.

Cowboys should have this in the bag.

<there might be a little sarcasm in there>

Ahem. McCaffrey.

Also, Chadarius Ward, Hassan Ridgeway, George Odum, and some nice ST's players.

This team is more physical than last year. Except for what we saw from diggs. Lol. During the bucs game, every time Godwin caught the ball he looked like he was going to cry he got hit so hard.

49ers are a much better team this year than last year. Defense is best in the league by far, and offense has a lot more dimensions. They were basically Deebo with a solid D last year. Now they're Deebo and McC with an elite D. Just saying.

...and...
McCaffery killed.
The Boyz tried to be 'tuff' but by the middle of the 3rd Quarter, you could tell they were broken.
Purdy didn't buckle under pressure.
Maher missed another one...on the grass.

Cowboys suck!
