...seems to be an increasing problem more and more.

Unfortunately, if they let this trend continue and ingnore the regular family man fan with the young children there won't be much of a future for the game at the stadium.

There's no reason for anyone not to enjoy a beverage at the game, but that's no reason for putting people who you don't know in the hospital. It's just a game!

Billy B is right though, if this isn't contained it may end up like European Football where every year deaths are a common occurence as Skin Heads and other football hooligans come out to play in the stadium stands.

My wife, who was my girlfriend at the time, and I had to flee a section in Wembley when things got a little hairy and they started throwing bottles and pipes at each other. How they ever got the pipes in the stadium with all the security checks I don't know.

Lot's of SkinHeads sporting "brass" on their hands also.

I was at FedEx 2 yrs ago when we crushed the skins in a game where we had constant freezing rain/ice. I took my wife to the game and there was some guy a few rows back that kept yelling at the top of his lungs "change your tampons you bloody *******". Meanwhile there were fans all around with children! It's unreal how a handful of s**t-faced fools can make what should be a family event turn into a bar room brawl. Meanwhile, ice balls were being thrown at cowboys fans, etc. Neither stadium security nor the police were anywhere to be seen.
I was at the very same game. Hambrick had like 150 yards! I ended up getting Pnuemonia but it was worth it... we kicked the crap out them. Newman had like 3 INTs that game also.

Anyhow, I was sitting up front in row 20 (great seats) behind the Cowboys bench. A big fight broke out near the end of the game and took place in the aisle next to me. Needless to say, the fight spilled over into my seat and on top of me and some friends. The majority of the fight was between some drunks and security. I wasn't too shook up by it but it does suck because there's nowhere to go if something like that happens. It's pandemonium. And you're stuck right in the midst of it and you just have to brace yourself.

By and large, fights and obsceneties are commonplace at any sports venue but I find the earlier games to be a little better because the fans are generally less drunk earlier in the day but it's really just the luck of the draw based on where you're seated.
The good thing is, Fed Ex Field has ALOT of Cowboys fans too so it's not like being alone behind enemy lines. Just know when to keep your mouth shut and your alcohol to a minimum and you should be fine.

A few bad apples is always the case.

I have been to games in DC, NY, LA, Minneapolis, Philly, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Charlotte, Tampa, Green Bay, and NE.

The only time I ever even nearly, had an issue was in NE. For a freakin' pre-season game.

I have never seen so many drunk idiots in one place at the same time.

I've been to Fedex plenty of times and I've never had a problem with skins fans. Maybe we exchange a few words back and forth, but that is all.

I truly have never been to a Football game. But I am also a soccer fan. and this is happening all around the world. Stadiums of any sport in general are getting pretty unsafe.

For instance in soccer, over in Europe, specifically England some rough fans over there. All you see is grown men up there! no kids, no women no nothing. It really hurts the image of the ''game'' in general. I mean sports are supposed to be a Family thing, where you go and cheer your feakin' eyes out!

Now back to football, Luckily there has not been any deaths right? Not that I have heard atleast.

Hambrick rushed for 189 I believe and Newman had 3 of his 4 picks on that day, making him Matt Hasselback's leading receiver (hasselback was 4 of 26 that day I think, with a 0.0 passer rating).
