He’s the defensive m v p. He’s going to get better of course but that play makes him even more coachable. What happens if he keeps getting ints and slowly starts to give up less and less yards? You have a top 3 corner ever.

A top 3 corner ever?

Oh this place is going to be a rough read these next two weeks.

The safety did not make his job any easier.

After rewatching the deep td by Bourne, diggs bit in a double move and still recovered to be in position to make a play in the ball. He stopped either to avoid running into the safety or because he thought he’d get the int in stead but he caught up. How fast is this guy? I always thought he was 4.5 ish but he has great recovery speed.

As long as he become a shut down corner and not a ball hawk like Marcus Peters.

He was expecting safety help. He did not get it at all. Safety was nowhere to be found and then Diggs actually retreated back and could have made a play on the ball but had no idea where it was. Every DB gets burned at some point. He's a ball hawk and loves to make plays. He will learn from this. Teams will now see how he loves to jump routes and will throw more double move routes his way. He's a rookie. He will be fine.

....stuff happens. Unfortunately it happened to Diggs who seconds before was on the other end of glory. He'll learn and grow. How do you get better? By getting beat.

Only way up for Diggs, it to become dangerously good. We're fortunate he wears the Star.

Very odd because he easily caught up to the WR and has great ball skills. Seems like he thought 18 was going to swoop in?

Yeah he definitely thought Kazee was coming in for the hit and that's probably why he slowed down. The catch may be on Diggs but the TD is on Kazee.

Looking back, it was actually crucial to our ability to get the game to OT. If the catch had been made and he was tackled around the 30, they could have driven and and killed a lot more of the clock. Now, no guarantee they score 7, but it's nice to be on the other side of giving the other team way too much time to go down and do something.

Why did he let up? They kept talking about the double move but it looked like Diggs just stopped running...
It looked to me like he played underneath for the underthrow, expecting deep help.

Maybe now offenses will think they can beat him with double moves and try to throw at him. I want them to keep trying.

The safety also interrupted his stride by nearly running into him.
