Why I want Phillips/Garrett

I just think that if Garrett is hired as the OC/heir apparent Phillips could come in for thre to four years and really turn this defense around.
He has done a real good job in San Diego, and maybe he would use Ware much like he does Merriman.
If Garrett is the HC, who would we have to run the defense?
If Phillips is hired he could also train Bowles.

I am all for this combo. Only negative is Phillips age, but he is a good ol boy from Texas and has a great relationship with JJ.
