Even Plax was going over to the GB sidelines confidently taunting Harris(I believe) saying "You Can't Cover Me! You Can't Cover Me!".

So what if Harris can play press coverage OK, but this guy is S-L-O-W.

:laugh1: :laugh2: :lmao: :lmao2:

It's his hair, honestly I have no idea. T.O. had a big game against him too.

I have no idea, but it doesn't hurt that Deion touts him 24/7 on NFLN.

I guess he's the new apple of Prime's eye... Replacing that other shutdown fraud MeAngelo Hall.

Note to Jerry: If Deion calls with corner advice before the draft, hang up immediately.

Cuz he's a member of the media darlings known as the Packers.

Media members seemingly love all things Packers, from the QB, the freaking field (frozen tundra), the fans and their headgear, the leap and the quaint, little town.

They can do no wrong.

This is an easy answer.

It's because he plays six games a year against the following QBs

Jon Kitna
Rex Grossman
Tavaris Jackson

I didn't know he was.
Remember all the hype on how TO was not going to be able to thrive because Al Harris was going to be "physical" with him? It was supposed to be TO's toughest test of the season and he ate Harris alive that night.

Yet he was still voted in as the #1 corner in the NFC for the Pro Bowl.

I've never understood why he is so highly regarded...

I guess since his hair covers the name on the back of his jersey, the mediots can't tell who is getting burned...

He's judged by the same convoluted jury who decided Roy Williams is one of the best safeties in the NFL....

Wow! I was telling my cousin this today while we were watching the game. Al Harris is a great corner when he's covering average receivers. But when he's covering great receivers, ala TO or Plaxico, he's a joke. We saw that today, and when Dallas beat Green Bay earlier in the season.

that is it in a nutshell. If enough media meatheads say it on espn everyday it must be true.

One thing I know, no matter what the giants said, they respected our defense, they protected and didnt try to throw deep.

They had absolutely zero respect for the packers, they sent 4 guys out in routes and attacked them. Zero respect.

oh and cl, jerry should never listen to anything deion says he is a big a clown as there is on tv covering the nfl.

I dont think the packers faced many good quarterbacks this year and when they played a competent one it showed. Had they played the pats it would have been over at the national anthem.

:hammer: and throw in the Minnesota receiving corps to that list of elite QBs.

Makes me wonder what Deion Sanders knows about football... He makes it seem as though Harris is a great cornerback, when in reality Charles Woodson is the best true cover cornerback on their team.

It looks like you guys have the same lack of insight concerning relativity as with Roy Williams. The bottom line is there arent many 'good' corners in the NFL. The rules are completely against them.

People say that Roy Williams sucks but then are unable to name 5 SS better than him. I doubt you guys could mention a credible list of 10 corners better than Harris.
