Why is everyone so worried?

We had a 4 game winning streak, ontop of the NFC east facing the Deadskins at Home?

People were more confident going into Philly and GB. The Deadskins beat Denver, fluke win Orton was injured and the ever-useless Simms was in.

We will win this game, and my prediction is 24(3 in first half, Dallas) -10 (10 in first half, Commanders)

Injuries at a couple key spots have people worried about a couple of games here that we really need to win this week to put ourselves in position for December.

It just went on a 4 game winning streak and ahead of the NFC East, if they won the super bowl would you post they better win it next year?

I think last week's offensive line meltdown reminded many, including myself, of last year's collapse. This team can be so unpredictable and they seem to be talking more about how the other team will be pumped and not how they are psyched. That stuff doesn't matter that much, but last week's game certainly killed my confidence a bit.

On a side note. I've been meaning to ask, the "Formally Romofan" thing...
Does that mean you were FORMERLY known as "Romofan" or that Romofan is your FORMAL name and Romo2Austin is kinda like your casual, hangout, nickname you use in Cowboys forums?

Last weeks performance was enough to put a dent in any fans confidence. But one thing this team is also very good at is rebounding.

Let's hope that Free can hold down the RT spot and that Ball is up to the Safety duties.

Mega dittos! I can't get over how posters on this site ignore the collapses of past years and think this year it's going to be different. We have the same coaches and many of the same players and yet they seem to think the results will be different. I can still remember the year Brunnell beat us in the last 2 minutes. from 0 to 14 (winning) points in the last 2 minutes! Didn't the 'Skins sweep us last year? This offense shows no evidence of being able to play well against a good D, and Wash. has a good D. I hope the 'Boys win, but I don't have much confidence....

No we beat them in D.C. last year. Washington's D isn't as good as it was in the past years. Rogers is benched, Haynesworth might not even play. Portis won't be playing.. C'mon man. They have Fred Smoot and DeAngelo Hall back there, with Reed Doughty.

Wrong. When they win, just say one of the following catchphrases:

"wait until December."

"wait until the playoffs."

"we still should have run <insert play here> more."

"yeah, but <insert player name> didn't play well."

What is your queston about ?

Do you talk about the upcomming game against the Commanders or about The Dallas team this season in common ?

You should differ between those two things then you may understand why some people (incl. me) are worried about this team.

Last week's performance and the injuries have us all worried, but I believe in the Cowboys. Those who don't should stop torchering themselves.

LowTech...have to love that 'Cowboy fan' photo.:)

Boyzmamacita...you've got some good fan loyalty going for you!!

As to the Cowboys, I'll be watching around the tackle areas for Dallas on both sides of the ball today. If they hold up there, Dallas should be fine...:starspin

I trust them all but Garrett and Roy Williams.

You shouldn't. They were untrustworthy before either of those guys got here. I learned a long time ago not to trust them, that's why when crazy **** like 4 first downs in a half happen, I'm not all that surprised.

My old name on the forum was R0m0 Fan and I had an admin change it to Romo 2 Austin.

Good answer. How can anyone say this is a good D when you cannot get a sack on this makeshift O-line of the 'Skins. A good D would have gotten a pick six by now to put the game away. ..

This is what happens when you have the oldes OL in the league... guys start to fade close to the end of the season...

We do need to change our entire coaching staff and the guy pulling the trigger in the front office (Jerry Jones)...
