I just posted the same thing in another thread...no reason to whine about NYG not being able to do what we should have been able to do ourselves

as for pounding some 8-8 team, I really doubt we'll be pounding anyone unless somehow the league can put Tampa Bay into the playoffs...honestly any of the 8-8 teams we could end up playing (assuming we win tomorrow, if we do) is capable of beating the Cowboys because our defense is so poor vs the pass

I'll have to be honest, there was no way in hell I could root for the Giants. I'd rather watch the Giants take a pounding and have the Cowboys play it out on their own without looking for help. They've clinched a spot, they can or can't handle the rest themselves.

On another Giants hating note, I was glad to hear that Plaxico was unhappy that a 'player of his caliber' (his words, mind you) was overlooked for the Pro Bowl.

Which he followed up with 1 catch. Yeah.

Bingo,the giants played us like their life depended on it.Today they looked like a totally different squad.Same with the saints.When we played them they were playing with playoff like intensity.The next week against the skins,they were just going through the motions.

Just because we were beat by the Saints, doesn't mean we don't deserve a bye, if we end up with the better record.
The good thing about the Panthers winning today, they will have something to play for next week at the Saints. We win the next 2, Saints lose, we still get the bye. Because we deserve it by having the better record.

Right, and because the NFL and media trying to make a feel good Tiki Barber story. He has been a very good RB and actually a class guy it seems, but with the overkiull, it gets to be a bit much.
