Why is Harris not on the field?

I'll get flamed but Beasley could have made a big difference in both these games. His quickness underneath is just what we needed vs these defenses.

He was on the field a lot yesterday...didn't really do anything though.

Maybe they think Williams is better?
Those accusing the org. of favoring a higher drafted player remind me of times when Ben and Skin (among others) accused Jerry Jones and co. of playing Roy Williams over Dez Bryant and Marion Barber over Felix Jones because Jones had given them big contract and his ego wouldn't allow him to admit he was wrong.
Reasons I hate being Cowboys fan.
Yesterday I was listening to a little of post show and a caller said the only reason Callahan was calling plays was because Jerry made that move as smoking mirrors to hide from bad drafts and the like. To my shouldn't have been amazement, the host said "I totally agree"
I hate being a fan of this team
This very host had whined for years that Jason had too much on his plate and he needed to be a "walk around" Coach.Everybody in the media said he needed to concentrate on coaching the entire team. Jimmy Johnson whined for years about how play calling and managing a game was too much for Jason.
When Jerry finally agrees with the noise and makes Jason this "walk around " coach that everybody wanted, it's smoking mirrors to cover up from past bad drafts.
I hate the BS that comes with being a fan of this team.
Just like with Williams and Barber, maybe they honestly believe that Williams is the better option.
And Dwayne Harris is my favorite player on the team.
Somebody should tell Harris, that when he calls for a catch and it hits the ground, he shouldn't be running near the thing after the fact. One of these days, that's gonna bite him and the team in the butt.

If BC insists on running a d&d offense then a player like Beasley on the field would be beneficial.
That said, I'd rather us throw down the field more.

Harris was a mixed bag yesterday.
He had two pretty nice returns
He almost made a huge special team fumble recovery and was around the ball a lot.
He often got double teamed on kick coverage
But he also got too close to one punt..but at least that ended up being harmless
The other negative was that illegal motion that cost Dallas 5 yards in the 4th qtr. he must be on a short leash on offesne becasue they pulled him on the sopt after that. lol

I thought Harris had a decent game. I'll tell you now that he should have had a 15 yard penalty called on the way they were blocking him down field on the return team. They literally yanked his head gear off and no foul. I don't have any idea how you miss that. He's the 1st guy down the field and you don't see that?

Yeah, they really mugged him a couple of times. I saw the play you're referring to. Very blatant hold....by two guys no less.
