Why is Kellen Moore considered a good playcaller?

Not on this forum....at least the majority. Most hate him, including me. He has no knack for the flow of a game, the personnel on the field, or the weaknesses of defenses. Seems to call plays out of his arse and then goes back to his pass, pass, pass using Dak as a pocket passer, or what i would refer to....... a sitting duck. But hey, that is just IMHO, of course.

Somehow, the Cowboys had the #1 offense last year. That being said, at times the play calling seems less than ideal. Either Kellen needs to go upstairs and try calling a game from the booth or someone else should call the plays.
I also feel the defenses know what’s coming too often. This says to me that Kellen doesn’t disguise or change things up enough. Our defense is great and still at times are caught out of position and give up big plays. It never a seems that way for our offense. Always covered or double covered.

I think he probably is a good play designer ? .maybe, during the week, he has a decent grasp of offensive concepts.
But his in game appalling I'd ******, between giving up on the run game too often and his love of gadget plays that never work.
He's not an in the groove play caller at all - like he just doesn't have a feel for calling games as he should by now.
Keep Quinn , can Moore this off-season

They had the #1 offense beating up bad teams, though we did start strong. In the second half of the year, the good defenses stopped us.

Unfortunately DQ is gone, without question. It's not about the money, so don't suggest Jerry just pay him now 5. And he knows coaching in Dallas is not the right gig for him. Not with Jerry as the GM.
