Why is Stephen doing all the interviews instead of Jerry?

Ego. It is bad enough that the fanbase hates him but he feels the need to make sure he is heard. It is going to be so awful when he has full control. Can't be the son who is just going to do the job and not be the mouthpiece his dad is. He is just like his dad...just without the risk taking and the likeability.

Jerry is a great businessman but bad GM. We have decades of evidence of both.

But whatever anyone thinks of Jerry, at least he earned what he has. Stephen qualified for his position the night Daddy bought the team. He’s lazy, arrogant, and there’s not another team in the NFL that would hire him. God help us if he’s our next GM.

IMO, you don't have to worry about Stephen taking over as GM since he has aged worse than David Lee Roth, eats like a pig, and appears to have not exercised in decades. I think Jerry will out live him. Stephen might also choke on that silver spoon in his mouth lol.

I agree about everything except the possible definition of 'earned' in Jones' case. Jones gave himself the title of general manager. He has trial-and-errored creating different combinations of coaches and players who, having nothing to do with the Jimmy Johnson years, have never reached the NFC Championship game.

Jones has earned great success off-the-field. Stadium and real estate valuations. Commercial endorsements. Merchandising windfalls. Oil and gas bonanzas. On the field success? That has been contributive to his GM touch? I cannot discern what Jones has earned in that regard, other than annual frustration for himself and his franchise's fans.

Stephen's been mostly running things for years. Jerry talks whenever he feels like it, does whatever he wants but it's Stephen who has been pulling the strings mostly lately.
