Why is the board so slow?

I also noticed it was slow. Must have been due to all the fans on the board for the draft. Took awhile for threads to click on and for posts to go through. Later in the evening after the draft ended each night it sped up some.

It was slow a few days before the draft and it is still slow tonight.

At one point I think there were over 5k simultaneous users.

I am sure it didn’t help but it is still slow today and it’s not on my end.

It was and I notice it’s slow tonight. It comes and goes. One minute a thread will click on quickly and the next it takes several seconds to click on. A few minutes ago I couldn’t get on the fan forum for at least 20 seconds. Now the site has sped up.

It’s still slow today. Curious as to why no CZ staff has responded. Tells me they don’t know what the issue is or don’t believe there’s an issue or more unlikely, they don’t care.

It’s definitely not the traffic on the site because it’s extremely slow right now. It took several minutes just to get on this forum. Hope they figure out what the issue is.

I have noticed it too but have no idea although I’m not at all informed in the arts of technology and its inner workings.

Hopefully it should be running faster after the server upgrade.

The site was being slammed by bots from other countries so hopefully the new firewall filters are helping with that.
