Why is There No Gray Area?

Garrett either wins every single game of his career or he's gone.

Linehan runs a great offense all season but if he draws up a bad gameplan, he's the plague.

There is a grey area. Especially if you're 11-2. If you have a losing record that's another story but we still have the best record in the league right now. We lost our 2ND GAME, not our 12th. Why is it so hard to say, "we lost, but can still build off of this for the rest of the season"?

Losses hurt, sure. But things don't suddenly go from amazing to the end of the season as we know it in just one game. Players screw up...badly, coaches make mistakes but it hasn't been commonplace this season. I'm not going to feel like a loser because we're 11-2.

I've been saying this for years... You'll find no grey area on Cowboyszone.


ESPN has trained people to overreact from week to week and game to game in all sports.

Because a fan base is normally bi-polar in nature and rarely sees the middle of things, they are normally only focused on the extreme ends of each discussion. And for those that sit some where in the middle are either homers or haters and most people who claim to be realist also tend to dwell on one extreme side. I like how if you are in the middle sometimes you are thought to be below the other fans because you are too weak to pick a side and stick with it...as if sticking to one extreme side or the other is a quality.
