Why isn't Hamlin getting torched by the Dallas Media?

I know there are several threads discussing Hamlin, but I was hoping this one might ignite a slew of emails to various media outlets for not mentioning how poorly thsi guy has played.

WIth all the criticism directed at this team, I can't believe we haven't even heard a peep about Hamlins terrible play.

I'm gonna shoot off some emails in the hope the media will begin to torch his *** and shame him with bad publicity.

Jerry should be irate, because this guy is stealing from him!

I'll be the first one to admit I'm no expert and I'm clinging heavily to images of his weak non-tackles against Baltimore and Carolina (Mussian Muhammad) last week, so maybe I'm wrong

Do you guys think he's playing well? If so, why do you say this?

Is he earning his pay check?

I think he stinks personally, but bryan broaddus said today that he thought he played well and did his job all night sans the terrible attempt at a tackle on mushin.

I think he is playing ok.......nothing special and surely not worth the money we are paying him....

Thats the biggest probleme I think fans have......once he got his paycheck.....his play has dropped somewhat....

That could be said about alot of players tho.......bang for the buck? Hamlin isnt.......JMHO

Can't remember where I heard it, Wade's presser maybe. His primary role Monday night was to be the over guy on Smith. I can forgive him for getting to that long pass to Muhammed late, but absolutely not for the missed tackle, Jenkins was right there, all he had to do was hold on.

I don't know why any fan would want the media, particularly the Dallas media, to bash even more than they already do. I realize that not every player may be playing up to some fans' standards, but I don't want the mediots meddling in my team's affairs. Why in God's name would we ask for more of their "expert" opinions??? That's just me, I guess.

Ken Hamlin's play has been terrible and that goes all the way back to the latter part of last year.

Go watch the Baltimore Game.

He has completely sucked this year and anyone saying otherwise is not really watching the game.

Ken Hamlin is not getting ripped by the media because he isn't a "star" player like Terrell Owens, Roy Williams (#31 and #11) and Tony Romo.

He's still on the field because we don't have another viable option but that doesn't excuse how horrible he has been against the run and pass.

This guy is responsible for the secondary being in the right spots, and they NEVER ARE in the right spots. Somebody is always open in the middle of the field, he is always late with help, he misses tackles all the time, he hasn't made a big play the past 2 years. WTH!

actually they are in the right spot. that is to say he gets the secondary lined up in the right spots for the defense that is called. sometimes the right defense isn't called.

i will agree he is late with help at times but not always as you say or even often for that matter. i would say his tackling is pretty poor but then again so is alot of our defense. but then again so is alot of the NFL nobody seems to wrap up anymore. but it seems everytime a good hard tackle is made they outlaw it or fine you for it
