why in gods name isnt he starting yet. every time hes on the field he makes plays! guy is gonna be a pro bowler in a couple years, hes always around the ball and has excellent instincts

He's not ready yet but I like his development and increased playing time.

What's the rush? He's coming along fine. He'll probably be starting by next year. He'll be a ten year player for us. Don't rush him big guy.

Coming along nicely. Really starting to make some plays and show good instincts.

Personally this is the 1st week i've seen him make play after play and showed why he was a 1st round propsect last season pre injury.

I need to see more. But today was the first day I saw why we drafted him so high.

Yeah he was all over those outs to the flat all game. Was nice to see a LB get there and stop them for 2 yards.

Good luck unseating Mr. Brooking. That 11 tackle performance today is gonna make the Cowboys staff go crazy!

I liked him out in the flats, looks like an instinctual player.

It is so nice to have an ILB that can run to the sideline. Good to have a more athletic guy out there again. James and Brooking cannot run anymore.

Lee shows more aggression and instincts and a bit of aniticipation savy than Carpenter ever did. He isn't great in coverage (yet) and was limping at end again. He is a bit fragile, and I get the feeling he will always be knicked up, so you need good depth to go with him.

He's around the ball and getting hands on guys all the time, which is a heck of a good start.

Yeah, bringing him along slow makes sense, but it is good he is getting more reps.

James did a good job with their Rbs on a few plays, but he was never really able to run.

My vision of Brooking was getting dragged for 4 yards for a 1st down.

Lee in limited time had a tackle for a loss, two solo stops for 2 yards each and a forced fumble.

It is no contest. I will take a rookie mistake here and there when they are surrounded by big plays over the guy jumping on the pile 5 or 6 yards downfield.

I love Brookings leadership but will be interesting to watch his play the rest of the season vs Lee's. Wouldn't be surprised if Brookings isn't brought back & Lee replaces him. We do need add more quality depth behind our starting LBs though.

Brookings and James can be exploited alot but they are steady they don't make any tackles for loss, and they are both below average in pursuit and in space. Look for the Cowboys to seriously look for upgrades after the season in this order ol,s,lb and db.

I like Brooking's attitude and leadership enough that I'd like to see him brought back next year in a limited role, if he'd agree to it. It's a little bit of a wasted roster space but this team needs guys like Brooking in the locker room, on the practice field, etc.

That should have been PI for not looking back and face guarding.

I don't think there is such a thing as face guarding in the NFL. Pass interference is all based on contact prior to the arrival of the ball.
