Why isn't Tony Parrish the answer at FS?

I keep reading about potential FAs for FS. Or draft picks. Or Watkins. Or Elam. Or moving Henry there.

But what about Tony Parrish? He was a late season pickup, but he can cover. He's not the classic center-fielder, but he can cover on par with most FS in this league.

So why is he not the answer?

(Granted, I'd take Laron Landry in a heartbeat, and I'd probably jump all over Reggie Nelson).

Well, for one, he isn't on the team any more.

and hes not that good.. or he would have played last year

He was used mainly at SS for 49ers, but his injuries I understand mounted and caused him to lose a step.

Just as long as some girl doesn't say your appendage is not the answer...

He is old and washed up. Was signed purely on name, and had nothing left in the tank on arrival.
