Why no defensive changes?

With the exception of Spears being out of the lineup due to injury, there hasn't been one change in the starting defensive linuep. The only significant change I've seen has been Lee getting more playing time. They're the 31st ranked scoring defense in the NFL, and yet nobody's lost their job yet. That's unreal.

So, is it that the coaches are reluctant to give someone else a chance, or is it that, even though some starters have been just plain bad this year, their backups are no better? I think it's the latter. Just kills me that we haven't been able to find anyone better than Ball. Start Sandejo for crying out loud. At least he looks like he can tackle.

I know a lot of people were ready to throw their TV's out the window if Barber started another game over Choice. I'm that way with Ball. Yesterday was the final straw for me, and I tend to give guys a long leash. He can't cover. He can't tackle. He can't react fast enough. Why is he out there?

At this point in time (even 6 games ago), every active player should have played at least a series or two. Not all at once, but rotate the players in.

And it is not just defense but the offense too. It is beyond belief that Columbo gets to put on a uniform at all.

Maybe it is Garrett trying to play psyche games with the young players. i.e. Make the young players think they aren't any good and maybe it will make them work harder in the offseason and camp next year.

I don't have a clue as to why the young players aren't getting playing time.

It is ridiculous. Rah, rah, beat horrible AZ with vets that suck. Got to get that meaningless W.

Maybe we just don't have any decent back ups that can be on the field without adding to the embarrassment other than Lee, Butler or possibly McCann. B Williams maybe? The back up cupboard is pretty thin I am afraid.

That is the direct result of some recent very poor drafts. Especially the one two years ago.
