Why no Jourdan Lewis update?

I am thinking he is just guessing based on typical hammy injury recovery time. It is a frustrating injury for Lewis, who already was a little behind.

Yup. It's still early tho. He's making the team and probably not playing until mid season anyway. You just hope the hammy injury is mild so he doesn't miss entire camp.

They will give him every chance to get back into the mix. He has ball skills that are maybe better than any of our defensive backs. Nice to have a lot of young bodies with talent back there.

Was watching some of the compete sessions. Jones had to interfere with Witten and Frazier got burnt by Swaim. Scandrick did stick to Dez but Brown got beat by Butler.

Remember last year, Zeke as held out for a hamstring issue also.
Switzer is being limited until after the HOF game. And we do have 5 of them to get everyone ready.

I don't like to see Lewis missing TC time, since he was a late arrival. But I think he will be fine in the long run.

The team is very cautious in training camp and they should be. This is not the time to push your body to the limits. You just got to be thankful it's not worse.

I have to wonder what makes this reporter conclude it'll be three weeks. Maybe he's been talking to a trainer or perhaps just guessing. I've had hamstring tweaks that were fine in a week or so, while others took at least three weeks to get over. Anyhow, I'll put far more faith in it whenever someone on the staff gives the word on his condition. This surely isn't a team that is likely to rush him back, though -- they'll choose to err on the side of caution every time.
