Isn't he still on the practice squad? As far as I can tell, his strong point is playing the run, and spying mobile QBs. He's a little suspect against the pass. But we could use him on early down and rotate the DQ safety/LB type in on likely passing downs.
At this point, I feel like Vaughn is taking up a valuable roster spot, especially when LVE is out.
Why keep him on the PS if you're not willing to utilize his skillset for depth?

With Hankins out right now, I sort of feel like Jefferson is a better fit than Bell at this point. Surely, he'd be better at stopping the run than Kearse has been in recent games? Something tells me Kearse may be in his final season in Dallas (I'm a Kearse fan, BTW). Whatever happens from here on out, I suspect we'll be addressing the middle of the defensive line within the first two picks again.
Anyway, Jefferson is capable of helping us against the type of run plays Buffalo ran. He can also contribute on ST.
