playing the Commanders on Turkey Day. I'm not complaining, it's just that given 3 days to prepare for a team that is unfamiliar to us is a bit much to ask. I know they have to go through the same thing but they didn't play 3 games in 11 days and probably had a little more time to watch film, etc. Detroit got screwed as well with having to play Atl. Why not go back to DET/CHI and DAL/WASH. At least these teams are more familiar with one another and would still make for a great Turkey Day.

One team will always be an AFC team because CBS televises the AFC. The 2 host teams take turns hosting the AFC team. Trust me, Fox would love for it to be they get Dallas every year. Dallas equals ratings.

That means it has never been and never will be those matchups every season. The Commanders will return on Turkey day at some point. But not yearly.

It would get boring watching the Commanders lose year after year.

Denver played 3 games in 12 days plus they had to travel to that 3rd game on a very short week. How was this an advantage for them?
