Garrett, HC; Sparano, OC; Bowles, DC. Sparano and Bowles know the players and the schemes previously used. Garrett can direct the whole deal and fill in the several other coaching vacancies with coaches he has known in his various travels. A young coaching staff for a young team?

I am 100% in favor of going with youth...

These retreads are a waste of time...

I'd be more in favor of that if I didnt otheriwse think we were "close".

If we thought we were a couple years away regardless, sure let the whole works grow up together.

Otherwise though to not have some proven leadership somewhere is concerning.

Heck even if it was at the QB position if nothing else.. ala Brees in NO.

But in our case we dont even have that cause we still got a QB that could prolly go either way.

That is a big risk to take with a playoff team. A few years ago I would absolutely agree. But now, not so much.

I don't want Sparano as OC. I don't like Parcells' offense.

Not that I am an advocate of Sparano, but no assistant coaches can be judged by there own merit when they are on the Tuna's staff. He controlled EVERYTHING. Just look how well Payton did this year after coming out from under BP's control.

I have no problem with Garrett as a HC......reminds me of when the Raiders brought in Gruden...and he made the Silver and Black a contender.

However, I want Chan Gailey as our OC. I like his offense. I think Romo would do a great job in his offense.

I also wouldnt mind Bowles as our DC but if not, maybe we can lure Manusky or the guy between Phillips and Manusky in SD (basically the guy who would have probably been promoted to DC if Phillips became our HC) as our DC....
