Why not les miles??...I just think that he always does a great job of having his team ready to play, and he just won another big game against alabama.

I think jerry should give him a call, im pretty sure he knows his way around :)
I think he'd be a good fit and would have the respect of the players.
Norv could be the OC, and we would be ok...other than that I like Jon Gruden for head coach

horrible and I mean HORRIBLE in game coach..might be amongst the worst ive ever seen..

Just say no to college coaches. Aside from Barry Switzer and Jimmy Johnson, very few of them even make it to the conference championship game.

I am one of the biggest LSU fans on this board.

Just say no to Les Miles. He is not NFL head coaching material. Pro players would eat him alive.

:laugh2: Was today the first game you've seen him coach??

no not at all but i know his teams always show up in the big games...unlike what we have now.
This team needs more of a motivator and coach with some fire...this team could win with singletary for crying out loud...we just have a lame duck coach out there garrett and wade...have no fire at all!!
I think les miles could coach the defense and let norv run the offense...and we would be better than whats going on today...just a thought ...i would really like jon gruden and would love jeff fisher, but im an ohio state fan and it dont get much worse than jim tressel...but i just like how les miles players love to go out there and play for their coach.

Les Miles is one banana short of being a ******** monkey. Have you heard the guy speak? I dont think he knows what sentence his brain is going to spout out next.

Plus, as said above, he is a horrible in game coach. He would not make it in the nfl.

I'd have to agree with this. I like a gun slinger gambler as much as the next guy but this guy has too much river boat gambling in him for me. His body language always makes me feel he's about to go over the cliff any second into a ball of flames.

Also, anyone who claps his hands together the way he does...good lord.

First of all thats my opinion but im sure i can go back to where every last one of you guys were wrong on something you thought you had a clue on...like im sure everyone here thought dallas would be 1-6 too huh?
But i have seen names like jim harbaugh on here and you never really know until they get an oppourtunity...but i forgot everyone here is a couch gm and knows exactly what they are talking about
You were the same folks thinking it was a good idea to keep garrett and i bet all of you knew that sean peyton was gonna win a superbowl too:rolleyes:
Or that mike tomlin was gonna be a great coach:rolleyes:
So like i said its one thing to state your opinion but half of you have never played any organized football a day in your life so where are your credentials at to put someone else's opinion down?
Im not discounting me being wrong, we'd never know if he didn't get a chance but i just said that he does a good job motivating his players...which clearly is missing and it could be very likely someone that jerry jones could consider due to his ties...all this talk about fresh blood doesn't always work out ...look at mcdaniels, del rio, mangini, cam cameron, and all those guys:rolleyes:
so there is no science to it...but as i said personally i'd like john gruden, or jeff fisher if he was available.
Rob ryan wouldn't be bad, but we'd need a good OC.
But lets respect each other's opinion around here because thats all it is...opinions!...Im a cool guy so lets keep it cool

just so you know, les miles is an offensive coach, therefore when you said he could coach defense you lost all credibility

One of the worst major college coaches, if not the worst. At least we'd have plenty to talk about after every loss, with all the going for it on 4th down, the fake punts and FGs and so forth.

Well he does have ties to the Cowboys. He was an asst coach in the 90's I believe. IIRC he was the TE coach.

As for hiring him.....oh hell no

Wow. Les Miles might be the only coach more criticized than Wade Phillips this season. Terrible in game coach.

Did you know that he was the Dallas Cowboys TE coach a while back? Under the Gailey and Campo years.

I really meant to keep the defense pumped because of course we'll have a DC
i just think with norv he wouldn't need to worry about keeping the offense motivated....but i can truly see where you coming from with how i worded it...so to you my bad.
