Why not put Tyler Smith at LT?

You have Tyler at LT. Put Edoga at left guard and the center can help him. Zack can handle his side.

Not sure why this is hard. Tyler crushed last year there, Edoga gets help. Or heck, you can use a new guy at LG. Center helps him.

Why not try it before the playoffs start?

Better to get it right now then wrong in the playoffs.playoffs are single elimination.

Plus Dak can run away from a DT, doubt he can do that against Bosa.‍

Problem solved.

Go Cowboys!

It is why we drafted him in the first place. To replace Tyron. All the play at LG this year is just getting the best 5 OL on the field together. He will be our starting left tackle next year. Bass can play guard. Put him at LT, Bass at LG and be done with it already. He is a far more talented LT than Edoga.

Coaches need to quit bull******** around and make the playoff run with Tyler at LT.

Ditto here.

If we have any kind of competent OL coach (Solari) then we should have been practicing that so it's an easier
lead into LT (tyler) - LG (chuma)

if we don't have that kind of OL coach,.. then we'll continue to see Chuma at LT ... Chaz Green do or die, sink or swim !

Tyler isn't moving to LOT just like Martin was moving to ROT.

Richards will likely be the starting LOT next year.

So, we want the free guy coming from more inside than before? Sounds brilliant.

then we go down with the ship becuz we refuse to adjust if we have to be forced to go without Tyron
and we know how bad backs can be with healing process periods.

I'm not quite getting what you're implying with Martin to RT
but it's apple and oranges with comparison to Tyler vs Martin.

Tyler is much younger and agile and physically equipped for outside OT than what Martin is right now.

Richards is an unknown, inexperience inactive game day project, who will get very little to zero game experience
this year. He is a developmental backup , ..unless he impresses and takes camp by storm otherwise by
summer's end. But right now, there's nothing to base "starter" tag on him.

I agree. It's been suggested to move Tyler Smith to LT and insert Bass at LG. They're going to get Dak killed if Tyron Smith isn't back. Detroit's D is the real deal.

Or keep it the same and actually give Edoga tight end help. He was left on an island far too many times. Oh, and pray that Tyron can make it through the postseason. I’d bubble wrap him now until then.

It's what people have been saying for years. We need a RT and the answer was to always move Martin outside. It wasn't going to happen but people kept saying that's what the Cowboys should do.

Same situation as it is now. Move Smith outside. Well, it's not happening. Just like Moving Martin outside. Tysons most likely replacement in 2024 is already on the roster.

Edoga should of been benched at halftime. No way he should be starting again. I don't believe this Cowboys staff see's Tyler as our next LT, but if Tyler is indeed going to be the LT next year or whenever Tyron hangs them up then why not move him to LT when Tyron isn't playing? They are trying to get Dak hurt. Edoga with his no look/touch blocks. The dude looked like he was a free agent rookie making his first start. Constantly making bone headed decisions. Yes lets not block their best player on the defensive line multiple times smh.

The problem I have with Tyler Smith is why he wasn't barking in Tyron Smith's replacement to stay on his man and quit trying to assist him with his blocking assignments, because he doesn't need help with Tyron playing alongside him and sure doesn't need help with some non-starting wannabe LT playing next to him.......... It doesn't make sense why the left side defensive end was left unblocked on more than a couple of occasions! It's amazing that Prescot wasn't injured and knocked out of the game or fumbled because of blind backside hits he was taking.........

Chuma had the same issue vs the Cardinals. It's like we know Chuma is trash at LT why do we keep putting him there? To me he moves like a guard. I bet if Tyron doesn't play we start Chuma again.

Also he is having the same issue he had vs the Dolphins. The line slides one way and he slides the other way smh.

He was bad, no way around it. The Cowboys reluctance to move Tyler outside at any point this season tells me that his future will stay at guard. They are going to have to figure out this LT position within a few weeks.

It’s the same stubborn idea that you don’t want to disrupt two positions to fill one.

Makes sense in certain cases. Not this one.

Again this goes back to thinking Ball and/or Waletzko are actual players when Jason Peters ought to be on this team.

I guess over evaluation is what happens in a building full of yes men. Makes sense.

Tyler Smith at LT as a rookie. Dallas needs to put their best 5 olinemen on the field. When Tyron is out Tyler is the best LT we have. Put him there.
