Why not re-sign T-Will?

The problem is that T Will will get paid like a number 1 receiver from teams who dont have one ( Saints, Seahawks, Rams, Cardinals, Lions etc.)

There will be other WRs in FA that may take the same amount or less and be just as good. I am really interested in seeing the market for Jackson. He might set the tone to what TWill can get.
The Saints have 3 WR better than Williams, and the Seahawks, Lions, and Cardinals have at least one.

T-Will is homegrown. No he's not a number one, but he's a good #2. For the right price, bring him back. I'm on the JPP train so if that means we have to let him walk, then it was a good run for Terrence. These type of threads would be better if we knew who we're replacing a player with. That's why you can't be so quick to throw a player away. Also, it means something to me when a guy is homegrown and is not trash.

Yes, he drops one every now and then due to body catching, but he and Dak had chemistry this season and he can stretch the field. If he will sign a reasonable WR #2 contract, I would keep him. Don't need to create another draft need if we don't have to.
I think they like TWill plenty enough to keep him.
But I also think there may be a team out there willing to way overpay him.
If so, he will be gone.

I agree. But we can't use draft capital on a WR. If we can re-sign TWill somewhere around 5yr 20 mil, 8 guar I'm on board with the OP. His trajectory for a huge signing (ala what Tavon Austin received) fell mightily this season. He's a solid WR. But if he wants 40m, he needs to look elsewhere.

I will be irate (and we all should be) if we use premium draft capital on a WR. (As an aside, Michael.)
This.
We will keep him if the price is right.

I tend to think the price may not be right, but you never know.
