Why not replace TT with Coleman?

Why not give Coleman a chance at the 3rd RB in place of Thompson? Thompson got 3 years to prove something and couldn't. It's not like we use the 3rd RB for alot anyway. I know we take a big gamble if Barber or the 2nd RB gets hurt, but all NFL teams take that chance.

Barber
2nd round pick
Coleman

That would do the job for me.

I wold like to see us go after Rock Cartwright from the Skins. Good return skills, tough, etc...

I don't think theres any doubt that he has the inside track for the 3rd RB spot at this point. If they sign a FA RB and draft one, then he'll have to fight it out and earn the spot.

I agree with giving Coleman a shot. At some point we are going to have to trust our draft and play these guys instead of going out and paying someone in FA

Been saying that for months now. Also want Springs as a 3rd CB

I would have thought we'd call Foster, to me he'd have been a nice backup if we had an injury to Barber or whichever rookie we pick up

Does anyone have a scouting report on Coleman by chance?

I guess that would depend on what we do at KR. If we don't draft someone, Coleman would have to take Tyson's spot.

He's a guy I think they should definitely talk to and see how much the market is for him.

He is a UFA. He simply wasn't resigned.

He's an RFA? Hmmm....I thought he was a UFA.

He was going to be an RFA(3 years), but when he wasn't tendered it made him a UFA.

I believe that Tyson was an RFA that was not given a tender offer. So he is now unrestricted?

Thanks Dayton_Cowboy.

Coleman didn't impress me too much in what limited action he was in on, However, maybe there's more than what I've seen.

Not sure how much you could have seen... He was on the practice squad the entire year and only got time in a couple (probably one) preseason game because he was injured in camp.
