I see all this stuff about Jason Garrett as the next OC...is this just "grass is greener" talk? Why wouldn't you want Sparano to come back as OC if say Norv Turner or Jim Caldwell or Ron Rivera were hired as HC?
Sparano consistently had the offense moving the ball, they were solid in the red zone, and generally good overall. Remember, Payton wanted to take Sparano with him to New Orleans, but Parcells wouldn't let him. Think of the work he did with Jason Witten. He certainly seems to understand Romo's strengths and weaknesses...I have a hard time believing it was Sparano holding back the offense against Seattle.

I know right? Sparano is sprightly enough, and if Payton and Bill think so highly of him that each felt it necessary that he be on their respective staffs, he must be pretty good, and afterall, he had more success as assistant HC here overseeing the O, as much as you can being a BP assistant at least, than Payton did, not saying he's going to be a better HC than Payton, just sayin'
