It will probably be something like that Doomsday, although I think Rivera may be willing to hold on to some of the offensive coaching staff considering we were a field goal or two away from scoring the most points in the league this year....really the only thing he'd need to do on offense is add more talent on the OL, get younger at WR, and have better play-calling which might be a given now that the fat dinosaur is gone....:laugh2:

That very well could be the case that Rivera or who ever comes will interview some of the current coaches and retain them. My only hope is who ever gets the job, it will be left up to them to put a staff in place.

On ESPM radio this morning...

OK (insert slam of ESPN here)...

They said that he was being offered 2.7mm/year up from 1.5mm...

Not sure the validity of that and this may have been the offer before they made the SB...

Now, everything changes...

One problem would be him getting his assistants/staff in place.

It may not be bad waiting for a HC and afraid of losing out on others...but your OC, DC and other coaches that a HC may like would be gone as those seem to move more than HCs in this time of the year.

True...

But would the quality of the other OC's, DC's etc. be THAT much better by waiting for 2 weeks to at least interview the guy?...

I don't know of the Retreads could do much better at this point...
