Not a big poster. Mostly just a reader. And from what I read, it seems like everyone here hates the Cowboys like an ex-wife. I just don't get the negativity against the Cowboys and among fellow fans. I guess we're like a big dysfunctional family. We argue a lot but no matter what, we all love the same thing. Playoffs just started a week earlier for us. Until we lose, there is no reason to complain like we are Chiefs fan. So everybody love everybody and let's root for the Boys.

I agree, I get tired of the negativity and try to keep it positive. I live in Chiefs country to I'm surrounded by negativity all the time! :laugh2:

Go Cowboys!:star:

Did you watch the game? someone tell me how we can stop anyone with that horrible D? There just not bad there pathetic. Injuries have destroy what could of been a ok D now there out there playing with guys off the street.

I did watch the game. I said alot of swear words too. Im a diehard fan and I found myself saying "Who the hell is that?" alot. I once said that about Romo, Austin, and Ratliff. So I believe in people stepping up when called, especially when they get paid alot of money to do it. People like Moore and Coe arent who I want out there but its good experience and I will root for them until they arent Cowboys anymore.

I think people confuse negativity towards the team as not being a fan. You can think a team sucks and still root for them to win...especially when there are so many reasons to be down on a team, not just from a performance perspective, but from an effort and focus perspective. It's hard to be positive about a team that jumps offsides on 4th and 1, runs poor routes, can't line up correctly, and defensively puts 9 guys on the field inside the 5.

I don't think that, even if we somehow beat Washington, this team will go anywhere in the playoffs. This team is just way to thin on defense and just plain bad on the OLine to win 4 games in a row and a Super Bowl.

But that doesn't mean that hope is gone or a pleasant surprise is impossible. Of course I'd like the Cowboys to go Cinderella, but we've lost to every NFC playoff team we've seen in blowout fashion. ATL, SEA, Chi, and Was beat us badly, so there really isn't evidence to suggest we can make a legitimate run in the playoffs.

And that STILL doesn't mean I won't be in Was next week rooting or that fans will be somehow mad when we win b/c it wasn't expected. It will be just as delicious for the negative fans as the positive.

I fully agree. Isn't this this most frequently argued topic on the forum?

I see this a lot and I just want to clarify one thing. We are all negative about aspects of this team. Every, living, breathing, eating, sleeping, drinking, pissing one of us.

What drives some of us crazy enough to comment on the negativity are people who are negative about everything on this team. Therein lies the chasm some can't seem to grasp.

If someone predicts this team is going to lose every single week, is going to miss the playoffs every single year, and has very little if anything good to say about the players and coaches every single day, it is not the same as someone who thinks we need to upgrade the OL.

Does it seem possible to you that every single decision any team makes is wrong? I just saw a post about how we pay Anthony Spencer too much and never should have Franchised him because of his off sides on 4th down yesterday. Forget everything the man has done right in recent weeks, an offsides, that yes was big, is evidence he sucks.

Most of us have no issue at all with negative commentary about things that are wrong. I know I don't. But when someone obviously hates their fellow fans who aren't constantly negative, and never has a good thing to say about this team, well that is what we object to.

There are posters here who are delighted that we lost yesterday. Yes, I mean that. They are delighted because they still win. They get to tell the posters they can't stand how blind, stupid, and brainwashed they are. They get to post it in their sig pics as ad hominem attacks. They get to flaunt it, and they do. Every single day, of every single week, of every single month, of every single year.

And if you can't see that the mindset I just described does exist, get your damned eyes checked. This place sounds more like a Giants, Commanders, or Eagles forum than it does a Cowboys forum after a loss, or an "ugly" win.
