It's also true that LT will be a bigger need than RT if we move Tyron over to fill in for Free. Unless Dak plays LT. But then QB becomes your biggest need, if you don't hang on to Romo. (Follow the bouncing ball, man.)

This is true. I'm going to make a long post about it.

I would take the "improve the front seven" approach to improvingthe secondary.
I would agree though losing 4 guys, picking at 28 and every team wanting pass rushers makes that more difficult
Looks to me they decided that a war daddy is not likely at 28 so build to the strength of the draft which is the secondary

Something about Jabrill Peppers just screams Cowboy to me.

Wouldn't be unhappy with that pick at all. If he's around at #28 with some of the better value DEs off the board, I think we have to take him. His versatility will let us play him in more Nickel sets against what's going to be a pass-heavy division next season. We can find another Cover-2 safety/CB later on.

It'll depend on when the streak of DEs or DBs starts up. If teams start to dip into the depth at S/CB in the mid-round, early 20s then some of those pass rushers could fall to Dallas at 28. If they really like a guy who makes it into the 20s I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to trade up to get them either, though I'd prefer they stay put and take BPA. It's worked well in recent years.

I think the Safety from Ohio State would be a great addition. Has ball skills, big dude. Will tackle and instincts are off the chart. The fellow from Michigan has the "Swiss army knife" factor going for him, but I'd rather have someone who has played that position at a high level from day one.
