How about stats from the Eagles? Do things even out over 17 game schedule? Are you telling us that the Cowboys won't be good this year because of the schedule? They won't be among the league leaders?
The league, by design, does not have any two teams play identical schedules.

That dude reminds of a member here years ago.
I wish I could remember the name. Anyway, some dude
actually claimed the NFL didn't count negative yardage.
The thread topic was essentially Emmitt vs. Barry.
Someone mentioned how Sanders had more carries for
negative yardage in his career than any other RB.
That's when the glue sniffer began his rant that there was no such thing....lol/smh

Why the Cowboys offense should average over 30 points per game in 2024

Did you know that no other NFL team scored more points over the last three seasons than the Dallas Cowboys? Not only that, but the Cowboys led the league in scoring in 2021 (530 points), ranked third in 2022 (467 points), and again led the league last year (509 points).

On a per-game basis, that averages out to 31.2 points per game in 2021, 27.5 in 2022, and 29.9 in 2023, one point shy of averaging exactly 30 points for the season.

Last season, the Cowboys tied a franchise record by scoring 30+ points in 10 games for only the second time in franchise history, equaling the 2014 team (that played only 16 games).

Why is all this relevant? The Cowboys’ record over the last three years in games where they scored 30+ points: 21-2. If you’re looking for a shortcut to the playoffs, scoring 30+ points per game would be a convenient way.

In a similar vein, 29 NFL teams have averaged more than 30 points per game (480 points per season until 2020, 510 points since 2021) since realignment in 2002, and all but one of those teams made the playoffs.

Last year, teams were 103-15 when scoring 30 points or more for a cool .873 winning percentage. Applying that winning percentage to a 17-game schedule gives you a 15-2 record.

Does this take into account defensive TDs and TDs set up by the defense? We had one of the top teams in turnovers during this time ... with one of our corners just setting the record for interceptions returned for TDs.

Considering that Zimmer will be more focused on being more defensively sound, I'd think there's a good chance that turnovers will go down, which will result in our scoring average going down.

I think I said that they play the same teams. Not the same schedule. I didn't mean that they play the exact same schedule.
You said,
"They play the same teams that every team plays."

Tell us, how does 32 teams play against all the same teams in a 17-game schedule?

Last year Dallas, in two games, outscored
the Giants 89-17. Also, in two games, Dallas outscored Washington 83-20.
Without verifying, I will say that's very likely to be the two most lopsided divisional matchups of 2023... and probably the past 5-10 years.

I see what you are saying. I think you are claiming that they only lead the league because of their schedule.

Dak Prescott .......and the last two different play callers.
plus having perennial weak sistas outside of the Eagles, in the NFC East division helps a bunch.

Just so very disturbing and disappointing that come playoff time, do or die, win or go home ... all the wow offensive regular season stats
just simply fly outta the door.

I don't know that this is relevant. If the Cowboys score 50 against the Giants and 10 against the 49ers, they are averaging 30 points. Last year Dallas averaged 30ppg and went 12-5. Had they actually scored 30 ppg they would have been 14-3.

I'm not sure some of these clowns even watch football.
Some will just continue to act as though they are right no matter how clearly it is presented. Deny, deny, deny & then try to accuse everyone else of the very transgressions they commit.

But.......... I heard the Dallas offense is horrible, especially in the playoffs, because they have no run game, a bad o'line, and terrible receivers. How is this possible?

Notice I left 1 key position out of this? He never does anything wrong, or so I have been told countless times.
Someone told you Dak never does wrong?
