My best friend is an Eagles fan. Perhaps you could say he's my best friend DESPITE the fact that he's an Eagles fan. It doesn't happen all that often, but every time we've watched an Eagles game together, the Eagles have lost. I recall it happening four times over the last 2-3 seasons, but he says it's actually more like six. Given that the Eagles haven't really lost all that many games in the last few years ... this is a relatively significant number. I specifically recall watching with him the first Eagles/Cowboys game last season, last year's NFC Championship, and both Eagles/Cowboys games this season.

After me enjoying yesterday's trouncing in his living room, he's convinced it's a curse and refuses to watch an Eagles game with me ever again.

I need to find a way to watch the game with him next weekend. Any suggestions? Our season depends on this, people! Should I secretly break all of his TVs and then invite him over to my house? Maybe I should just show up at his house at game time? Perhaps if all else fails, standing outside his front window and watching the game from there would be enough?

Call him repeatedly during the game in a menacing throaty whisper, asking him how the Eagle are doing. Then have someone else call him to say "He's calling from inside the house!"

Ridiculous.

Enough about you!
Must every post be about you?

Now, to the original poster: Do what you have to do to allow the Cowboys to win.
Curse or no curse, yer friend will have to watch the Eagles be humiliated again. his house, your house, Bob Dole's house, whoseever.

You could do what i did to a giants fan. Friends and I went to his house and unhooked his cable connection from his house so that he could not watch the giants game. He was on the phone with the cable company and they could not figure out the problem. They sent a cable worker to the house to only find out that the cable was unhooked. We laughed for days. Good luck but you like the rest of this board believe it isn't going to matter which egirls team shows up, they are still going to get their heads handed to them.

Cowboys for life!!:starspin
