Think about how many times this team could have been rebuilt in the last 3 decades. It can be done quickly. If it fails (and it probably will), then you strip it down and rebuild it again. Far better than living in Purgatory.

When Jimmy was the GM, and he was, if not in name, the team was confronted by Jimmy and they knew his words were law.

Jerry is the GM....and owner, Doesn't matter if he is speaking as the GM, but when the players have open door access to the owner, who is ready willing and able to override the head coach so Jerry gets his thoughts and face in the media, the culture is damaged beyond repair because the GM has final say on everything from the X's and O's to the socks and jocks.

ie - "Troy looks good in the shower," quote by Jerry Jones

A house divided cannot stand, and Jerry castrates the leadership of this team so he can be the center of the Cowboy universe.

What makes this a real crime is if Jerry were merely the owner, he would be holding the GM accountable. The way he handles it is like he hired his imbecilic brother and then gives him a pass on every detail the brother screws up.

Jerry, fire the GM.
