I hate to loose any game, but loosing to them really hurts.

I know they are still laughing. Did you see JJ he was really hurt/mad.

JJ did not deserve or expect that result.

I hope we bounce back from this. I don't think JJ will have much patience this year far loses.

this was the freakin RING OF HONOR HOME OPENER MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME AGAINST OUR HATED RIVAL!!!!!!!!!!

I am never going to get over this loss until we kill the Commanders in December

Damn people, we have won 14 of 16 against them, those kind of records tend to even out over time. We can't beat them every time.

Normally, I'd say that's a accurate statement, but given the sheer fact that y'all have won (before last night) 14/15 games, I'd have a hard time swallowing it. I know fellow die-hard skins fans that PURPOSELY don't watch skins-cowboys games beacuase they hate seeing another loss.

That kind of record has that demoralizing effect on people.

Don't get me wrong, I was majorly choked over the loss, one of the worst chokes in my 28 years of watching Cowboys' football. However, I would have felt the same way about losing to any team last night (I felt just as bad when the Steelers did it to us last year). As it was the Commanders, I figured for sure we would pull it out with a field goal at the end.

There were a few of us that had a bad feeling about last night (predicted a close loss); just a gut feeling, that's all. No excuses whatsoever, chalk it up to conservative play calls, bad coaching, officiating, whatever...it all goes in the loss column regardless.
It's worn out and trite to say it, but this team is absolutely a "work in progress" in many, many ways. We may even see a different team and different type effort each week for some time. To expect wins now just because we think we outman the next opponent is to court disappointment.

We'll said, the law of averages had to cacth up too us sooner or later. The loss still hurts like hell though.
