So he was on the inactive list & they activated recently promoted receiver, did I miss something? Wilson was also inactive.

I like Smith but he was a non-factor at New Orleans. With Cooper, Gallup, Austin, and Cobb active, how many balls was he going to get?

Speaking of dropped passes......Cobb. Dude should try out for Volleyball.

that was the likely reason, i'm assuming Devin likely didn't grade well vs Saints and they thought he'd be more a non factor than factor and they could add his game day roster elsewhere to another position and unit. should Gallup or Cooper gets hurt, I assume we would have placed Cobb both outside and slot in according to the plays and packages.
with Austin taking in slots on occasion.
- which I would have hated Austin having to be involved in that many plays. (Ced Wilson also game inactive)

Because Gallup is our future number 1 WR and back from injury. I would guess the decision was made based on ST play

while I think Cobb is more dangerous than Beasley as he affects more downfield as a runner after catch and vertical field of range, I do not consider him as consistent and reliable one on one
horizonically east-west than Beasley underneath. He's had his drops and inability to separate underneath, and he's disappeared some in these last two games vs top NFC competitors.

Probably because he can't play DT or LT. WR was the least of our concerns yesterday. The huge concern is the run defense. In the last 10 games (going back to last year) our run defense has been gashed in 5 of those games. Indy 178 yds, NYG 143 yds, Rams 273 yds, NYG, 151 yds, and GB 120 yds.

Because he isn't as good as the other wide receivers who started over him.

everybody has known we need fat dudes up front & marinelli still think it’s better to play with hybrid DE/DT at the nose.

That mindset has got Dak exactly where he is right now. Rodgers threw to everybody.....Dak has to be limited.....can we say regression.
